Nikkei Ends Down 14%, May be Volatile Next Week

0612 GMT [Dow Jones] Nikkei ends down 1.4% at 13500.46, hurt by U.S. stock falls on poor economic indicators; index likely be volatile next week again on U.S. indicators like PPI; ranging 13000-14000, says Norihiro Fujito, senior investment strategist at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities. "The Nikkei may move just like this week and last week," said Norihiro Fujito, senior investment strategist at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities. Adds key is to breach February high of 13859 to gain ground; derivatives trading likely be more active than cash side. Real estate shares down on profit-taking; Sumitomo Realty & Development (8830.TO) down 4.2% at Y1,820. Topix off 1% at 1321.37. (AYT)
